When I had my lingerie company "Vagin Pouvoir" I had a meeting with Valerie Boster (Now, Bookings Editor) at Vogue. It was a pretty amazing meeting which I thought the outcome would be for my lingerie and myself to be featured in the pages of Vogue. Like every young designers dream is to get in those pages and be recognized by the legendary Anna Wintour. I think the main reason it didn't make it was because the name was quite controversial for a conservetative magazine like Vogue. I bet Anna Wintour couldn't agree with the name since most American magazines are not as open and free spirited as the European ones like French Vogue. Valerie has such a nice humbling personality which was refreshing coming from Vogue. Anyways, she was featured in Vogue.com series "5 days, 5 looks, 1 Girl" and I wanted to share it with you guys incase you guys missed it. I love love her contagious smile, isn't it adorable?
She was given this Hermès bag given to her by her mother and that gorgeous necklace is by Alyssa Norton.
I appreciate the 3/4 sleeves on her Marni Coat reminds me of one that I have that is very Balenciaga. One time I wore my Manolo Blahnik boots that are very similar to these to work and I didn't know get a good response. I felt outcasted so I will never wear them again to my finance job.
Sorry we haven't taken good pictures of us lately. With the snow in NY we haven't been as excited to meet and dress up a bit.
